PROXIMO 101 INVESTMENTS (Pty) LTD, was established from a perceived need for high quality virgin tissue paper for the hygiene industry. Our research showed that there was very limited availability of a wide range of tissue paper in Jumbo reels, particularly for the production of facial and pocket tissue. Whilst a number of tissue mills operated in South Africa, most were focussed on producing toilet tissue grades in virgin and recycled with quality varying between acceptable and fair.
